Jackrabbit Johannsen

If you get a chance, there's a really cool article (pg 42) in the January 2007 issue of Ski Magazine about a skier named Jackrabbit Johannsen. Born in Norway in 1875, he was around long enough to see the evolution of of skiing during the last 100 years.

Although, the west is getting plenty of snow
