Copperhead and Racer went with their children on the Donegal Ski Club's trip to Stowe, VT. It was minus 10 degrees when we arrived, but that didn't stop us from skiing. We had a hearty breakfast and then after climbing the oddles of stairs we were off on our first run of the day. We started off with green trails to warm up our legs then ventured to blues. We found the Chapel which was interesting.
We took the cross gondola to Spruce Mountain which has more green and blue trails and we had planned to have lunch over there. They are contructing a big hotel & lodge over there that will be beautiful when it's finished.
On the second day, we found they were serving lots of free food and drink on Spruce Mountain. We had hot chocolate & s'mores around the outdoor fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Maple cotton candy in the big tent and participated in the Chef demo, which had all kinds of gourmet delights.
